Intercare Hazeldean Sub-Acute Hospital (Pty) Ltd situated in Silverlakes, seeks to recruit a Housekeeper. The focus of this position is to maintain cleanliness of the wok vicinity by performing various cleaning duties, and to file correspondence, and other records according to the filing system.
CRITICAL OUTPUTS
- Ability to manage/prioritize workload.
- Assist with photocopying, filing, administrative and stock management duties.

- Good cleaning skills, including knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning methods.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Assist nursing staff with linen counts.
- Act as a representative with outsourced medical waste provider to collect waste and receive empty waste containers.
- Act as a representative with outsourced laundry provider to count, handover and receive linen on a daily basis.
Opportunities You Might Like:
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12.
- Previous experience in a customer focused service environment will be advantageous.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Must possess the physical strength and stamina to perform tasks requiring continuous walking, standing, moving objects, and climbing short ladders.
- Previous housekeeping experience will be helpful.
