Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To transport and escort patients, equipment, files and related items between different departments of hospital care; to provide transportation and delivery services; to fulfil security responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Transport and escort patients safely to a pre-determined location
- Provide Hospital Transportation Service
- Provide Collections and Deliveries Services
- Assist with evacuations during emergency situations
- Control access to entrances and direct clients to the correct locations
- Perform patrols and inspections

Required Education
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
- Grade 12; or Grade 10 with 5 years of extensive experience in the security/client service environment
DESIRED EDUCATION
- Matric / Advanced Driving Skills Course
Required Experience
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Experience in client services / dealing with the public
- 5 years of experience driving Code 08
- Security Services Experience
Desired Experience
- Healthcare experience (e.g. care work)
- Driving passengers using a PDP licence
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
- Emergency Evacuation plans
- English Proficiency (Read, speak and write)
