your purpose
Ensure an enhanced customer experience in the area by ensuring adherence to processes that minimize risk, improve efficiencies and grow sales & profit whilst controlling expenses, resources and energy.
key responsibilities:
Administration:
- Ensure that losses are managed within the 0.7 of sales inclusive of write-off and report to the Store Manager all exceptions.
- Ensure strategic plans are in place to minimize shrinkage in compliance with the Stock Loss policy and report to the Store Manager all exceptions.
- Ensure that stocktakes and cyclical counts are conducted on a regular basis as per operational requirements.
- Ensure Mark Down targets are achieved and that Data integrity % is on the company agreed standard of 90%.
- Ensure that all security procedures are followed and that the security in the store is supportive of customer service and report to the Store Manager all exceptions.
- Manage Dayforce daily, inclusive of exceptions.
- Ensure that all store administration is in line with administration policies and procedures.
- Assist Store Manager in conducting store assessments, ensuring acceptable results are achieved.
- Manage Como reports weekly and submit exceptions to the Regional Risk Administrator every Monday.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance
- Ensure maintenance checks and action.

Profit:
- Ensure that all controllable expenses for the store are managed in line with budgets.
- Report to the Store Manager any possible deviations from the store budget.
Innovation:
- Analyse and challenge processes to identify better ways of working with regards to Systems & Procedures, Dayforce Efficiencies and MPOS
People:
- Ensure Inductions, Training & Development is at optimum level (KickStart and MyCareers).
What are the requirements?
- Grade 12
- 3 years of experience in a store management position
- Leadership Skills
- Budgeting knowledge.
- Computer literate.
- Communication skills.
- Business understanding of retail trade, Company Audit Processes, Risk evaluation.
