BRANCH: TRAFFIC & LAW ENFORCEMENT
DIRECTORATE: COMMUNITY SERVICES
Task Level 9: R233 928 to R303 648 (Basic Salary)
R376 946 to R467 098 (Total Cost to Council Package) (PERMANENT APPOINTMENT)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Public and Road Safety
- Regulating and directing traffic
- Community and Security Operations
- Enforcement of By-laws
- Control of stray animals
- Assist with Disaster Management
- Equipment and General Maintenance
- Administration

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 Certificate – NQF 4
- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Law Enforcement Certificate
- Valid Code EB Driving Licences
- No previous convictions
- Be prepared to work in all weather conditions
- Be prepared to work irregular working hours
- Be willing and available to overtime and standby duties
- Good Communication Skills
- Conflict Management Skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Must not have been declared unfit to carry a firearm
- Firearm proficiency
