HomeChoice is looking for a highly talented and passionate graphic designer to join our team.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role:    

  • Creative concept development
  • Creative solutions
  • Production of graphic design files for execution
  • Collaborate with creative directors to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues
  • Be an active part of brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
  • Listen and respond to creative briefs, understanding if and where there are gaps.

Requirements

A little about who you are:

  • A relevant Tertiary qualification in graphic design
  • At least 5 years’ experience, excluding freelance
  • You must have experience in graphic design for multiple formats and applications including but not limited to:
    • Brief interpretation
    • Concept and layout development

You should be competent in the following software applications (Windows & OS):

  • Adobe XD
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word

Advantageous skills:

  • Web design (e-commerce banners / emailers - Social banners)
  • Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premier
  • Adobe Media Encoder
  • Typography
  • Corporate Identity
  • Branding
  • User Interface design (understanding of wire frames)
  • DTP
  • Layout Design (Posters / magazines)

Personal skills/attributes:

  • Enthusiastic

  • Self-improvement in craft
  • Good time management
