To ensure success, the Marketing and Communications assistant should be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of MarComms best practices with an understanding of B2C and B2B markets. Top candidates must exhibit project management, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative and logistic support to the head of the department and the Marketing and Communications team
- Assist with marketing and communications tactical activities
- Assist in implementing marketing plans that include print, broadcast and online content
- Assist in the creation of branded advertising campaigns, and support the marketing and communications team by coordinating and collating content
- Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and the competitive landscape
- Assist with internal communications and events
- Assist in managing suppliers
- Preparation of reports and presentations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist Communications team to disseminate customer communications where necessary
- Provide administrative support
- B2B and B2C experience and understanding are a must

Minimum qualification and experience:
- Diploma in Marketing and or Communications
- Minimum 2 years in a marketing and communications environment
- Agency experience advantageous
Skills / abilities
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
- Time management
- Ability to multitask
- Solid organisational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
