Scope & General Purpose of the Job

To provide efficient transport and messenger service, which is aligned with Unit business needs and priorities

Responsible to: Project Manager / Catering Manager

In communication with Project Manager, Area Manager

Education / Qualification and Experience Requirements:

Minimum Education / Qualification:

• Matric

Minimum Level / Years of Experience:

• 2 Years’ experience in a similar position, code 08 Drivers licence / PDP

• Messenger Services

• Operational support

• Transportation and Transfer of Employees or Visitors

• Care of Assigned Vehicles

• Route Planning and Vehicle Related Administration

Competencies and Skills Requirements:

• Driving Skills, able to safely and confidently operate a motor vehicle, and possesses a valid driver’s license & professional driving permit

• Literacy, ability to read, write and communicate adequately in the language of the workplace

• Numeracy, ability to perform basic calculations and work with numbers adequately

• Communication Skills, able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing

• Interpersonal Skills, ability to develop effective interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Additional Skills Requirements:

• Driver’s licence and own reliable transport

• Excel proficient

• Well-spoken

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
