To ensure the effective execution of sales and control of stock
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Ensure effective marketing of the company and its products to grow sales and customer base, and to enhance the profitability of the branch
- Monitor stock levels by conducting regular stock counting and stocktaking to ensure stable availability of stock and to minimise stock losses
- Responsible for stock control and stock rotation of old stock and new stock
- Ensure that stock is displayed in accordance with merchandising standards and that merchandising displays are relevant to seasonal needs to enhance sales
- Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external clients
- Communicate warranties and return policies to clients and ensure that clients are aware of the legal requirements regarding the purchasing of certain products
- Ensure that quotations are processed accurately and timeously and follow up on outstanding quotations from the clients and suppliers
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
- Good knowledge of AFGRI Retail’s product range
- Computer literacy

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Grade 12
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
- 1-year experience in a direct sales environment
- Relevant Agricultural product knowledge
- Experience in animal health would be advantage
