My client within the telecommunications industry is looking for an experienced Security Specialist for a 1 year contract. The person will be responsible for the overall security of the business as well as all sites and properties.
NB!! 1 YEAR CONTRACT
Responsibilities:
- Frequent visits to sites and assigned locations for investigation and project monitoring

- Lead and direct investigations of all reported incidents such as theft and sabotage cases
- Identify emerging fraud and theft practices
- Implement emergency plans in order to streamline response to theft cases
- Record statements with SAPS and attend court cases where necessary
- Compile incident reports on a weekly, monthly and annual bases for every site
- Monitor security on site and assess to eliminate potential risks
- Identify risks and vulnerabilities (frequent visits to assigned locations, risk management audits etc)
Opportunities You Might Like:
Requirements:
- Completed Degree in Criminology or relevant
- 5 - 8 Years’ Experience as a Senior Security Specialist or similar
- Preferably coming from the telecommunications industry
