Supply Chain Coordinator - Mr Price Home

We are looking for a motivated and passionate partner, with an eye for detail, who is able to operationally execute initiatives as a Supply Chain Coordinator who will work as a part of the Sourcing team within the Mr Price Home division.                                                                                                                       

Key Responsibilities

A guideline of what you’ll do as a Supply Chain Coordinator:

• Training of Suppliers on our systems, processes, and critical path
• Manage exceptions within the supply network to mitigate the impact of any issues
• Manage the critical path with a sound understanding of pressure points

• Engage with suppliers, 3PLs, internal stakeholders and monitor KPIs including cost management
• Work closely with Sourcing to ensure OTIF and other supplier metrics are met. 

Requirements

• Grade 12  
• A relevant qualification (i.e. within shipping, imports and exports or BComm Supply Chain)
• 2 or more years’ experience in Supply Chain (advantageous)
• Must be computer literate with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work accurately, with strict attention to detail
• Ability to communicate fluently via both, verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly pressurized environment and able to meet deadlines
• Retail and homeware knowledge is advantageous
