Key Purpose
To provide a service to clients in a call centre environment with VAPS claims, processing of sales, assist with complaints, escalations and all ongoing support that might be necessary in the VAPS Department.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Log and follow up on VAPS claims with clients
- Receive and process sale orders from service provider
- Checking accuracy of the quote and activation request
- Maintaining sales records of service providers
- Liaise with multiple departments, e.g. Claims, Servicing, Drive Centres, etc.

- Providing feedback to clients as per SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Supporting the VAPS sales department with other sales-related tasks
- Travelling to service providers 2 -3 times a month. The company will provide means for transport.
- Accurate, timely administration
- Achievement of monthly product and soft skills knowledge targets
- Stakeholder engagement
- Dealing with Service providers
- Teamwork, self-management and alignment with Discovery values.
Education and Experience
- Matric (Essential).
- 1-year minimum call centre experience in the short-term insurance industry (Essential).
- 1-year minimum sales experience (Essential)
- 1-year minimum experience dealing with service providers (Essential)
- Degree (Essential)
