Job Purpose

Responsible for transportation of materials and maintenance of the vehicle.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Delivers and collects vehicles from and to various depots, departments and suppliers.
  • Checks and signs for goods before delivery and collection and assumes responsibility for goods whilst in transit.
  • Undertakes the maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that the vehicle is fueled, clean and tidy.
  • Checks and reports on the roadworthiness of the vehicle.
  • Fills in daily trip log sheets.

Essential Requirements

  • An appropriate level of secondary education.
  • Valid motor vehicle drivers license (Code EC1) plus PrDP.
  • Crane Operator Certificate to be obtained within 6 months of assumption of duty.
  • 6 Months relevant experience.
