General Worker, Warehouse - RCL Foods

Do you want to be part of a growing and enthusiastic company working towards an ambition to offer more food to more people, more often?” The Eastern Cape Agriculture team is on the hunt for General Worker: Warehouse to join the E-POL Berlin Team with a direct report to the Finished Product Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collect completed materials, number of bags and product type from Stores and ensure that bags are loaded or stacked properly.
• Bagging and sewing of 40kg bags.
• Stacking bags onto pallets. Loading and offloading trucks.

• Verify the bagging system scale and check that scales are accurate.
• Report surplus, shortages and any quality-related problems with the bags and Feed.
• Ensure correct feed, bag tag, weight of bag produce sewing.
• Ensure that the work area is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Perform all job tasks with accuracy and speed.
• Be an integral part of a high-performance team.
• Comply with all Food, Health and Safety Standards.
• Comply with Product Quality Standards.
• Ensure correct loading of bags according to documentation.
• Ensure safe stacking and non-mixing of product codes on the same pallet.
• Carry out any reasonable tasks.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.Time keeping.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12.
• Physically fit – able to carry 50kg bags.

• High level of honesty and integrity.
• 3 months of previous experience in a production and warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work overtime.
• Effective reading, written and verbal communication skills.
