A key outcome of the role is to creatively conceptualise and deliver enticing on brand material, for both Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) and Field Communication platforms and audiences.

The role primarily requires the creation and execution of elements such as newsletters, posters, e-Zines, HTML emailers, invitations, and announcements. That said, much of the role entails utilising your artistic abilities to influence the outputs of certain internal campaign brand messaging/ adhoc projects, to ensure corporate identity consistency and innovation, on every piece of material developed.

Ultimately, a creative eye, with intriguing ideas that can bring to life compelling stories is critical.

Prioritised Responsibilities:

Graphic Design/ Creative Conceptualiser for Field Communication and RSC Communication Platforms and Events - 80%

  • Create and design various materials for internal communication platforms and events
  • Design collateral for use within KFC on an adhoc/ project basis, as required
  • Ensure that all creative is in line with established and approved Brand Guidelines
  • Prioritise and manage the development of design elements for multiple internal brand campaigns, that will be trafficked into the Internal Brand Studio
  • Retouching and enhancing of images is required
  • Ability to work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
  • Evaluating design briefs from internal stakeholders and establishing most appropriate design route and needs, to efficiently deliver on-brand creative into the system

Internal Brand Studio: Team Collaborator - 20%

  • In partnership with the rest of the Internal Brand Studio team, the Internal Brand Creative would need to explore the best solve to deliver priority campaigns into the business, in collaboration with Project Lead, fellow Brand Studio team members and other stakeholders, to ensure successful cross-functional development and implementation of campaigns
  • Archiving and Retrieval of all creative in a systematic manner, for ease when auditing
  • Recommending innovations within the internal brand creative space to continuously improve processes, outputs, graphics - and remain relevant as a brand, as we do externally

Qualifications:

  • A completed tertiary Graphic Design or similar qualification

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Graphic/ Digital Design experience
  • Strong creative with Conceptual abilities
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in various design software programmes, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, web, digital, HTML and CSS
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects, and proven track record of working in a similar environment  
  • Excellent eye for detail

Skills/Competencies:

  • A driven and diligent go-getter who is able to deliver with minimal oversight from the coach.
  • A confident self-motivated individual, who exudes confidence, a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple design requests/ projects, and the goalposts/milestones within each and deliver professionally on all projects
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A creative who is proficient in all spheres of design, skillful in converting standard/ordinary messages into creative, eye-catching design that’s futuristic and edgy.
  • Copes well under pressure.
  • Good oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about Graphic Design
  • Ability to navigate through courageous conversations
  • Flexibility to deal with changing business needs
  • Good spoken command of the English language
