Temporary Assistant Head of Cash and Banking - KFC

Purpose of Position:

• Supports the Head of Cash & Banking and assists the Cash & Banking team by focusing on reconciliations, creating schedules & reporting that assists & guides the teams on store level.
• Providing efficient data processing and administration service to the Cash & Banking department ensuring information is accurately captured.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ordering of weekly change for all stores
• Allocate daily bank deposits
• Allocate daily card transactions
• Customer overcharges & bank disputes
• Processing of online refunds
• Updating online refund schedule where necessary for invoicing purposes

• Provide biweekly online transactions reports
• Provide monthly cash shortage report for Payroll deductions
• Processing of month end journals
• Voucher Recon & Journal
• Zapper journals
• Sales clearing reconciliations
• Recommend process improvements where necessary
• General administration as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 Certificate
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Basic understanding eCommerce platform
• Previous Accounting Exposure
• Retail experience will be advantageous
