We have a vacancy in our Finance Team for a Commercial Analyst Development, reporting directly to the Planning Director. This role will be accountable for:
- Partnering with the Development Team in driving aggressive new unit franchise growth on the continent, and
- Driving commerciality through ensuring optimization of the new unit and remodel capex and optimized return on invested capital (ROIC) for new units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead / participate in key strategic projects by providing financial leadership to the business - 30%
- Develop solutions to assist the Development team in unlocking development growth opportunities - 20%
- Optimize the business model through the development of cost optimization initiatives - 20%
- Provide robust financial analysis & evaluation of new units that support informed and timely decisions - 10%
- Forecasting & tracking Development’s contribution to Business Unit performance - 10%
- Lead the ongoing monitoring of new unit performance and leverage these learning to elevate future new builds - 10%

Qualifications:
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics
- MBA highly favourable
Experience:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Financial / Commercial environment and role
- Preferred experience in new Africa Markets and willingness to travel to selected African Countries
- FMCG/QSR experience will be advantageous
