The main purpose of this job is to ensure that returned faulty stock is repaired/tested efficiently and effectively in order to be able to meet SLA requirements set by the vendor and by Rectron and ultimately ensure customer satisfaction.
Outputs and Responsibilities:
- Timeously assess and repair jobs
- Ensure set KPI’s are reached and maintained
- Ensure effective customer communication
- Effective follow-up and Job checking
- Report any incompatibility of products to management
- Execute Rectron standards of excellence in all work completed.
- Build good relationships with staff and customers, display a courteous and helpful attitude at all times.
- Assist with other job-related duties as and when required
- Other duties as specified by your line manager
- General admin and housekeeping

Education/Qualification
- Matric
- Relevant Technical Qualification: A+/ N+ / Server
Skills and Competencies
- Attention to detail
- Problem Solving
- Understanding of gross technical problems
- Strong ability to work according to a time line and schedule
- Ability to work under pressure
- Well disciplined’ individual
- Ability to effectively diagnose failures ensuring a low return rate
Experience (experience required for the job)
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a technical environment
- Good Knowledge on Servers, IT Hardware and Networking
