Supervisor - Mr Price Logistics

To supervise relevant departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and DC (Distribution Centre) associates in a distribution/ warehouse operations department.                                                                                                                                                

Key Responsibilities

Time & Attendance:

• To supervise departmental DC associates ensuring timekeeping and attendance is met.
  
  

Production:

• To supervise production efficiencies to ensure targets are met timeously.
  
  

Quality (Stock Aging):

• To supervise staging reports to ensure location accuracy.
  
  

Health & Safety

• To ensure the correct Protective Protection is used on the production floor, to ensure Machine Handling Equipment (MHE) operators have the applicable licenses, to ensure workplace organization method (i.e. Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain -5S) is maintained on the operations floor.

Requirements

Education:

• NQF4 Equivalent (Grade: 12).
  
  

Experience:

• 2-3 years of DC Operations experience.
  
  

Knowledge/ Skills:

• Applicable warehouse management systems knowledge.
• Business understanding of DC Operations and retail in general.
