Duties and responsibilities:
  • Safe and reliable transport of students of the Faculty of Health Sciences from the main campus to various sites associated with Faculty of Health Sciences.
  • Uphold a positive image of the UFS by applying good and safe driving habits.
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Clean university vehicles as scheduled and/or required.
  • Handle administration regarding departmental vehicles including keeping track of bookings of vehicles.
  • Maintain discipline on vehicles when students are transported.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties related to the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Inherent requirements:
  • Grade 10 on NQF level 2.
  • A code C1 or EC1 (14) drivers' licence.
  • Professional Driving Permit (PDP) (attach a copy).
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience as a driver.

Salary:

The annual remuneration package, including benefits, is R98 269.49 – R127 123.96 depending on the budget available for the position, experience and qualifications.
