Job Purpose
To transport stores and materials to Clinics and Hospitals surrounding the Ethekwini Municipality.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Collecting and delivering items to and from clinics and hospitals in accordance with a scheduled programme.
- Inspects safety devices, controls, lubricants levels on vehicles and reports defects to the Supplier Officer.
- Observe and participate in the loading/offloading of stores and material (Clinical items e.g. medications and nutritional products) and correcting deviations from safety procedures.
- Completing the log sheets, progress reports and vehicle checklist.
- Responsible for updating transactional information associated with clinical items such as medications and nutritional products, receipts, issues and usage in registers.
- Undertakes to file documentation and sundry records.

Essential Requirements
- An appropriate level of primary education.
- Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence (Code EB)
- 1 Month relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements
- An appropriate level of secondary education.
- 3 months relevant experience.
