Armed Response Officer - Pro Secure

We, Pro Secure are currently seeking an Armed Response Officer for the Umhlanga area.

This role will ensure a consistent and exceptional level of service to the client base of emergency response and to ensure the safety of the client base at all times.

Main Purpose of the Job:

• Ensure quick response to Clients emergency calls
• Ensure visibility at standoff points and during area patrols
• Ensure clients complaints are handled efficiently
• Ensure that the disciplinary code is adhered to at all times
• Ensure the safety of clients by checking premises thoroughly
• A high standard of service must be upheld
• Have expert knowledge about all facets pertaining to your position
• Attend all training sessions
• Keep your vehicle neat and tidy at all times
• Assist with any problems or complaints

• Give full feedback to the controller where necessary
• Officers are required to submit comprehensive reports and feedback as requested from time to time
• Conduct daily parade and comply with Standing Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Complete daily/weekly checklist
• Officer must standoff at delegated places during peak hours
• During off-peak times the area must be patrolled
• Help all residents by advising and assigning possible security risks
• Follow up with clients after serious incidences and offer assistance
• Pay special attention to all calls
• Perform a public relations service and introduction calls to new clients.
• Reactions officers must inform the controller the area he is standing off at.
• Reaction officers must be energetic when responding to a client’s property/ standoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade C, Armed Response, PSIRA Registered
• Code 8 Drivers License
• Valid Firearm Competency for Handgun / Shotgun / Rifle
• Proficiency Certificate for Business

Hours of duty : 06h00-18h00 & 18h00-06h00 Respectively.
