Working closely with the HR Manager to ensure Human Resources, Industrial Relations, and Recruitment Services are executed efficiently and effectively by providing the necessary support to all colleagues and Department Heads. The successful colleague is to contribute to a progressive and service-orientated Human Resources function by ensuring that all Human Resources processes and services are carried out fairly and with consistency following Resort Policies and Procedures and Local Law.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the end-to-end recruitment process in consultation with Departmental Managers and HR Management and ensure compliance.
Employment Equity
-
Assist HR Management to establish and maintain the EE Forum. Implementation and monitoring of objectives as well as annual reporting.

Payroll
-
Maintain all employee profiles on SAGE300 People and ESS, action and load new starters, promotions, and terminations, assign user login details, leave management, and monthly reports.

Manage the onboarding process and relevant paperwork, drafting of offer letters and contracts, references, background and verification checks.

Manage the Termination process including exit interviews. Preparing and completing all paperwork, analyzing the feedback received to establish trends or raise any concerns.
HR SYSTEMS
-
Manage and maintain HR Systems; UNIS biometric system, Tractech Time and Attendance, and the HR SAP System.

Ensure accuracy of system data, pull reports, load or terminate users, assign user rights and access, identify absenteeism rates or trends, assist with timesheet queries and ensure system training needs are identified and conducted as and when needed.
Industrial Relations
-
Assist with coordination and arrangement of IR consultations, disciplinary inquiries, investigations and grievances, distribution of communication, coordination of IR training, coordinate record keeping, scheduling of all warnings, hearings, disputes, etc, and ensure the full record of all processes are captured and filed.
HR SERVICE DELIVERY

Drive a strong service culture within the HR department

Ensure that the HR service delivery is available at all times

Management of relationships with external service suppliers as well as colleagues and management

Clear communication and accessibility of policies and procedures once rolled out

Ensure quick turnaround time on all service delivery

Ensure that all filing is logged and filed timeously

Manage HR related administration including colleague files

Maintain confidentiality of employee and resort information, records, and files.

Assist with HR reports and HR Audits

Required Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources
-
SAGE300 People Payroll Software Experience
-
2-3 years Human Resources experience
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Excellent telephone/email etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong administrative skills with attention to detail

Excellent computer and typing skills with Microsoft Office proficiency

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to use initiative and be proactive

Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
