About the position

This Call Centre position is for medical graduates who will be responsible for contacting English speaking patients around the world who have particular health conditions and are interested in participating in clinical trials. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Calling patients who have asked for more information in clinical trials and conducting a basic medical screening
  • Discussing available trials with patients and performing a detailed screening to evaluate a patients eligibility for a trial
  • Transferring pre-qualified patients to clinics for further screening

Qualifications and Skills

  • Medical Degree or Diploma or a minimum 2 years work experience in a medical, paramedic or medical research role. Previous clinical trial experience is a plus.
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of chronic illnesses and medications
  • Neutral English accent and professional telephone manner
  • Good listening skills, empathy and sensitivity in patient interactions
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Clear criminal record, acceptable credit profile and good references
  • Willingness to work USA Central Standard Time hours

Operational Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 2:30 pm–12 am (3:30 pm-1 am after daylight savings time)
