Job Desciption
Forming part of Novus Holdings’ packaging division, Novus Labels is currently seeking to appoint a qualified Forklift Driver in the Despatch department. The successful incumbent will report to the Supply Chain Supervisor.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading, off-loading and movement of goods
- Pallet wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatching
- Create delivery notes
- Perform daily forklift inspections and complete required check sheets
- Cleaning of forklift equipment
- Perform other general duties when required
- Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained

Educational Requirements
- Grade 12
Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience within a similar environment
- Must have a valid forklift drivers licence (Counterbalance Truck/ Side shift)
Skills and Competencies
- Sound communication skills
- Numeracy and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail
