To assist the Assistant Manager: Fixed Assets with the management, capitalisation, transfer, sale and disposal of assets
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the capitalising Fixed Assets
- Process the disposal with and without proceeds of fixed assets
- Assist the Assistant Manager: Fixed Assets to run the monthly depreciation run by company code
- Review and capture the Asset transfers (excl. Orion)
- Processing of all Orion assets (process particular to Orion assets) – Transfers and invoicing
- Internal order creation and management for all approved capex projects and stores
- Assist with the fixed asset register review.
- Comparing the fixed asset register to BPC/BPP and SAP, investigating any differences.

- Prepare profit or loss reconciliation based on reporting requirement
- Run and distribute Depreciation Forecasts to accountants
- Assist Capital Management team with audit requests

Minimum Requirements
- Accounting diploma or advanced certificate (NQF 6)
- Matric/Gr 12
- Intermediate level of excel skills SAP knowledge essential
- 2 years’ experience in a corporate finance environment
- Proven work experience as a financial administrator or similar role
- Fixed assets experience would be advantageous
