BIL seeks to employ a Pickers at our Elandshaven facility to assist with put-away and picking of cargo. The successful candidate will be responsible for manual picking and packing of stock within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all put-away and picking of cargo is achieved timeously
  • Ensure that cargo racked and picked is correct for dispatch
  • Conduct physical stock counts
  • Re-palletizing of cargo
  • Tallying inward cargo Conduct Housekeeping at the respective area
  • Conduct checks for loading and off-loading of road vehicles and containers as required
  • Conduct CHEP pallet daily counts
  • Ensure SHERQ activities are maintained in the work area.
  • Implementation and maintenance of the 5s activities of responsibility

Qualifications & Experience

Grade 12 or equivalent 2+ years experience working in a warehouse environment
