Sheet Street is looking for a passionate trader who is eager to grow themselves and grow sales to join the Ecommerce team as a Ecommerce Merchant / E-Retailer / E-retailer. The Ecommerce Merchant / E-Retailer is responsible for ensuring products are online with the correct product price, stock, copy and attributes to ensure we achieve and exceed sales in the Ecommerce store as well as creating an enjoyable experience for online customers.


Your key focus areas will include:

Online Sales: 

Meet and exceed online targets by ensuring clear communication and efficient processes are in place alongside relevant teams and fulfilment stores to contribute to the overall growth and sales of Sheet Street.

Stock Service Levels: 

Respond to stock service levels once products are live on the Sheet Street website and ensure product placement is on correct product listing pages to allow ease of reference for customers looking for key products. To further highlight via upsell and cross sell, items which would both compliment the hero product as well as generate interest to increase basket size

Quality Control: 

Evaluate images, product descriptors and copy for online and liaise with merchants where necessary to allow for accurate information to be relayed to customers to increase basket size. Liaise with buying teams with regards to product updates which would require updated images and copy to match .To ensure an attentive eye towards images which may not be in conformance with our values and bring these to the attention of the relevant teams for immediate corrective action.

Marketing: 

Liaise with marketing teams to ensure all items for upcoming campaigns are in stock in the relevant online fulfilment stores as well as check pricing is correct. Conduct after campaign analysis to determine areas of success or improvement for future trade.

Merchandise Categorisation:

Responsible for creating and loading appropriate categories. Activate and deactivate categories as per business rules.

Administration and Reporting: 

Prepare weekly reports for current trade, working collaboratively with the merchant teams to ensure sufficient stock levels within the different categories. Make recommendations or improvements to enhance the customer experience utilising both sales data as well as Google Analytics. Provide insight to the digital marketing team on which products have led customers to the online site & their subsequent buying & browsing behavior.

Customer care:  

Liaise with the customer care department to timeously attend to customer requests & complaints.

Requirements

  •   Degree in Marketing/Finance is advantageous
  •   2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  •   Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  •   Experience with, or exposure to, technology performance, SEO tools, Google Analytics, Magento platform
  •   Knowledge of digital marketing is beneficial
