Duties

Ensure that daily check lists are done on delivery his/her delivery vehicle and report on any issues that might arise due to the inspections.

• Ensuring that his/her delivery vehicle is road worthy.
• Ensure that vehicles are clean and presentable for deliveries.
• Help pick stock if necessary for deliveries and collection.
• Ensure that the correct stock is loaded on his/her vehicle according to delivery notes in safe manner that complies to company and other regulations with the correct documentation

• Ensure that stock is secure on delivery vehicles.
• Ensure safe off-loading at customers and return the correct signed documentation to the sales and admin clerk.
• Collect empties from customers if requested with the correct documentation
• Assist the store man in housekeeping and other duties if needed.
• Help with off-loading of delivery vehicles from PE or suppliers.
• Any other reasonable requests and/or orders given by to him/her.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) essential Valid Drivers Licence

Experience

• 3 Years’ experience in the warehouse environment; Experience in Chemical Environment preferred
