Functional Competencies

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of contract law.
• Thorough knowledge of property law.

• Good understanding and knowledge of the law related to the additional portfolios listed.
• Schedule-driven with the ability to ensure that external and internal compliance obligations are met on time.
• Timeous completion of all instructions.
• Excellent drafting skills (with attention to detail) with particular experience in drafting and finalizing simple and template contracts.
• Legal formatting skills.
• Ability to work independently.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Completed articles
• Admitted attorney

Experience required

• At least 3 years post qualification experience in the commercial or contracts department of a reputable law firm or in an in-house legal team of a large corporate.
