Primary Function:

Provide marketing and copy-writing service as well as administrative support within the Marketing Unit of Group Communication and Marketing Department.

Appointment Requirements:

• Matric (NQF 4) plus a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field;
• Ability to create and develop new innovative ways to communicate the City’s messages to existing customers and residents;
• Strong sense of responsibility for delivery and meeting of deadlines;
• Skilled and creative copy-writing;
• Expert marketing skills and ability to implement new and innovative marketing strategies;
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications);
• Must be able to work extended hours as and when required;
• Open to applicants not older than 35; and
• Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.
