The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Administrator is the person who acts as the primary technical interface between the Core Group and the external WMS Supplier/Integrator. 75% of the role is allocated to the warehouse and 25% to head office.
Core Group candidates may be subjected to pre employment tests.
Key Performance Areas:
Warehouse- 75%-
Basic system administration functions on WMS including:

- User maintenance- adding, updating and deleting users from the system.
- Warehouse master data maintenance:
- Location management
- Wave templates
- Adding printers and scanners
- Changing document routing
- Integration management- checking integration failures on a daily basis:
- Checking the integration reports
- Check the event viewer
- Resubmit integration files where required
- Act as 2nd line support on all incidents raised before escalation to vendor- troubleshooting using the transaction and process histories:
- Resolution of basic issues in the warehouse
- Perform initial analysis of incidents before escalation to vendor
- Perform system maintenance in association with the company's IT department:
- Checking the system parameters for items such as RAM and space availability
- Perform regular systems maintenance in compliance with the System Maintenance Guide- the specific checks and rectifications would be performed by IT
- Reprinting of racking lables when required

Head Office- 25%-
- General systems administration
- Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers
- Perform system maintenance
- Monitoring system performance
- Data backups and recovery
- Provide techncial support
- Maintain system security
Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant IT qualifications
- 4-5 years in system admin including 3+ years WMS experience
- Experience working on Manhattan highly advantageous
- Reporting to Senior Systems Administrators
