Position : Senior Engineering Assistant x 2 (Transmission Division) Sasolburg CLN -Mercury and Lethabo

Vacancy type: Internal

Task Grade : T11

Area of Speacialization : To provide a safe, organized and planned complex centralized maintenance service within the Grid in respect to HV Plant and associated equipment

Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

  • Qualified Artisan (Trade Test)
  • Related Minimum Experience:
  • 5 years related experience

Skills and Competencies
  • Knowledge of planning procedures
  • Knowledge of operating procedures
  • Knowledge of switchgear maintenance according to HV Plant Certification requirement
  • Knowledge of work site requirements
  • Knowledge of ORHVS and OHS act
  • Knowledge of plant equipment
  • Knowledge of local operating procedures requirements
  • Communications skills
  • Co-ordinating skills
  • Computer literacy and analytical skills
  • Certificate to execute maintenance according to HV Plant Certification requirements
  • Organising and planning skills
