iStore prides itself on delivering world class service and solutions for our customers. We’re currently searching for an experienced programme manager to join our team and manage our customer events.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategise and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural-born leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimise productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

 

Requirements


Skills and qualifications: 

  • Completed tertiary degree
  • Project management experience
  • Background in event planning or programme management but with the ability to be a big-picture thinker

 

Non - negotiable 

  • Must have strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Must be a creative thinker with the ability to conceptualise new ideas and themes
  • Strong management and multi-tasking skills to coordinate support from multiple business units as well as a team
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Self-starter who will find a way to get the job done and get their hands dirty when required
  • The ability to problem-solve and pre-empt problems
  • Must have the flexibility to travel
  • Must have flexibility to frequently attend events and be on the ground
  • Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required

 

Role outline 

  • Develop and implement programme strategy and planning which is aligned to quarterly business objectives
  • Proactively monitoring the programme's progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
  • Ensuring effective quality assurance and overall integrity of the programme
  • Creating and managing long-term programme goals
  • Develop new concepts and ideas to introduce to the programme including new speakers, themes, categories etc. with the Relations Manager and training team
  • Co-ordinating and managing communication with all stakeholders and business units needed to support the programme across online, marketing, logistics, training, education and in-store
  • Mange the internal communication on the programme with frequent feedback and updates to business units, GMs, Store Managers and Trainers
  • Source and manage the relationship with key suppliers needed to support the programme
  • Support and manage Events Coordinator with event logistic requirements
  • Support and manage the Relations Manager with the negotiation of contracts for external speakers, briefing of branded and storytelling content required to support the programme
  • Host and assist with event setup and logistics when required. Certain events are hosted in the evening and on weekends.
  • Develop, manage and recon the overall budget
