The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategise and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural-born leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimise productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.
Requirements
Skills and qualifications:
- Completed tertiary degree
- Project management experience
- Background in event planning or programme management but with the ability to be a big-picture thinker

- Must have strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Must be a creative thinker with the ability to conceptualise new ideas and themes
- Strong management and multi-tasking skills to coordinate support from multiple business units as well as a team
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Self-starter who will find a way to get the job done and get their hands dirty when required
- The ability to problem-solve and pre-empt problems
- Must have the flexibility to travel
- Must have flexibility to frequently attend events and be on the ground
- Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
Role outline
- Develop and implement programme strategy and planning which is aligned to quarterly business objectives
- Proactively monitoring the programme's progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
- Ensuring effective quality assurance and overall integrity of the programme
- Creating and managing long-term programme goals
- Develop new concepts and ideas to introduce to the programme including new speakers, themes, categories etc. with the Relations Manager and training team
- Co-ordinating and managing communication with all stakeholders and business units needed to support the programme across online, marketing, logistics, training, education and in-store
- Mange the internal communication on the programme with frequent feedback and updates to business units, GMs, Store Managers and Trainers
- Source and manage the relationship with key suppliers needed to support the programme
- Support and manage Events Coordinator with event logistic requirements
- Support and manage the Relations Manager with the negotiation of contracts for external speakers, briefing of branded and storytelling content required to support the programme
- Host and assist with event setup and logistics when required. Certain events are hosted in the evening and on weekends.
