Job description

A busy, retail front, print franchise, requires the skills of a DTP operator to service walk-in customers.

  • Able to re-touch artwork files
  • Prepare artwork files for print
  • Styling Office documents into printable formats
  • Working with digital printing machines
  • Face to face customer interaction
  • Controlling workflow so that jobs are produced on time
  • Placing logos and designs into layouts, under client direction
  • Creation of job quotes
  • Able to finish and bind printed products



Requirements

  • Knowledge and working experience with either Coreldraw or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Industry experience required
  • Knowledge technical output requirements for litho print and digital print
  • A qualification in graphic design is advantageous
