Duties & Responsibilities

Deliveries

  • Deliver to and collect items from business units and clients/customers
  • Confirm deliveries and collections by way of a log book Vehicle Maintenance
  • Maintain vehicle in good order, including weekly check-up and fix of minor problems before they become irreparable
  • Keep the vehicle clean and tidy

Driving Duties

  • Plan which route to take to deliver goods/products/clients in the most efficient way
  • Adhere to the TCS’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures as applicable to this position
  • Obey all rules and regulations of the road.

Skills and Competencies

Physical Requirements

  • Must have good vision
  • Strong sense of spatial relations to park their vehicles and negotiate tight spaces
  • Physical agility

Communication Skills

  • Be able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs
  • Communicate with Law Enforcement Officers and clients/customers
  • Customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Code 10 (Passenger Vehicles)
  • Public Drivers Permit (PDP) – Movement of clients and passengers
  • Advanced Driving Skills will be an added advantage
