We a looking for a Merchandising Operations Coordinator to manage the end to end setup of all product categorisation, product assortments, inventory management, and data quality assessments. In this role you will be required to ensure appropriate product placement, monitoring inventory levels, updating filters, managing product categorisation and sequencing, site QA and analysing customer behavioural data to optimize performance. Job Responsibilities

  • Product list collation and consolidation
  • Resizing of product images

  • Quality Assurance on product lists as well as integrated feeds
  • Analyse sales figures and provide reporting
  • Manage product selection and category pages
  • Monitor stock movement to guide merchandising strategy up the line
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify key items and trends
  • Remain up to date with industry trends and best practices

Minimum Experience Level

  • 3 years Business Administration experience preferably in and e-commerce or retail merchandising environment

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Technical / Professional Knowledge

  • Data Capturing
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Comfortable working with high volume inventory
  • Sound decision-making skills and the ability to plan and prioritise
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Time management
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms or inventory management systems
  • Familiarity with online marketing
