Purpose of the Job

To ensure that the General Assistant's and the Clerk's function efficiently by checking that parcels are picked, checked, packed and despatched to clients.

Job Objectives

• Assist in ensuring that parcels leave the store area to despatch on time
• Assist in ensuring that the entire process of picking, checking, packing and despatching of all invoiced items is efficient and effective
• Ensuring staff adhere to punctuality
• Ensuring that attendance is continuously improved
• Timeous submission of timesheets & leave forms to HR
• Assist in ensuring that people are utilized where the need is the greatest
• Work allocated and instructions clearly communicated
• People utilized optimally
• Available people capacity match work needs
• Communicate to HR any changes to the WFM schedule
• Continuous improvement
• Customer centricity
• Ensuring feedback from internal and external customers is satisfactory
• Ensuring GWP principles are enforced
• Ensuring SOP’s are adhered to
• Clean and hygiene Wholesale pharmacy ensured
• Clean shelves and work benches
• Shelves well stocked
• Cleaning logs signed daily

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Qualification

Experience

Previous working experience in a similar environment an added advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledgeable on Operating Systems within a warehouse environment
• Previous supervisory experience an added advantage
• Good communication skills (Afrikaans &English)
• Supervisory skills
• Good conflict resolution skills
