An opportunity has become available for an experienced HR Officer to join the Entyce Isando team. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the successful individual will be responsible for providing HR support to the site. A completed HR qualification with a minimum of 4 years of HR experience working in a FMCG or Manufacturing environment required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide HR support to management and staff
- Ensure all HR audit requirements are adhered to and provide auditors with necessary documentation when requested
- Manage all HR and Employee administration

- Process engagements and terminations of employees
- Provide assistance to line managers with regards to disciplinary procedures, recruitment, training and staff matters
- Prepare HR reports as required (Headcounts, IR Matters, Absenteeism, etc.)
- Process monthly payroll variance reports and resolves discrepancies
- Uploading payroll onto SAP
- Assist with submission of Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) to Head Office
- Assist with the preparation, completion and submission of Employment Equity Plan if necessary
- Facilitate training programmes as required including new employee induction and performance management training
- Manage the benefit claim process ensuring forms are completed correctly
- Manage notifications of engagements and terminations with the relevant stakeholders and departments
- Coordinate and set up union and shop steward meetings, take minutes and distribute minutes after meetings
- Assist with CCMA cases by collecting and analysing information as required
- Handle the on-boarding process of new employees
- Participate in planning and coordinating staff events; canteen committee meetings and overall site communication process

Experience Required
At least 4 years’ experience in an HR Officer role gained in a manufacturing or FMCG environment Experience working in a unionised environment essential SAP experience required
Minimum Qualifications Required
A completed tertiary qualification relating to HR, Industrial Relations or Industrial Psychology (National Diploma / Bachelor degree) essential
Knowledge Required
Knowledge of relevant labour legislation (i.e. Basic Conditions of Employment, Labour Relations, Skills Development, EE Act /BB-BEE)
