Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is SA's largest independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the country's best-performing titles. We are currently looking for a design intern for our design department.

The successful candidate will be exposed to:

  • Design innovation and visual research
  • Image sourcing/creation relevant to brief/story
  • Assist in all design tasks, including printing wall presentations, client mock-ups, ordering images, creating PDFs, etc.
  • Digital platforms and solutions
  • Design and/or assist in all other forms of promotional material for the magazine i.e. mock-ups, rate cards, exhibition stands, supplements, etc.

 

Requirements

  • InDesign
  • Photoshop
  • Acrobat
  • Knowledge of printing
  • Technical skills related to design and printing
  • Have a tertiary qualification in design
