Executive Housekeeper - Luxury Property at Kendrick Recruitment

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking an Executive Housekeeper for a luxury establishment based in the Winelands, Western Cape. We are looking for a go-getter someone who constantly strives to improve their skills and better the team around them. We need someone full of energy, passionate, outgoing along with the ability to create, implement and complete tasks both on a small and large scale.

Responsibility:

• Providing supervision and direction for all housekeeping activities
• Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness throughout the property. Guest Rooms, back of house and public areas
• Responsible for assisting the Management team in the budgeting, forecasting, and planning for the department
• Manage the sourcing, interviewing, training and ongoing development with an eye toward maximum employee satisfaction, productivity and guest satisfaction

• Conduct and complete regularly scheduled facility inspections including guest rooms, public and back-of-the-house space to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards
• Ultimately responsible for monitoring the consumption and ordering the replacement of guestroom amenities, linen, towels, and cleaning supplies

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Housekeeper position at a 5 star hotel
• 2 years experience in a management position
• Computer Literate-Opera knowledge advantages
• Must be motivated, enthusiastic and energetic
• Must be hardworking and dedicated
• Must be a team player, with a positive attitude
• Must be willing to work shifts
