This exciting opportunity exists in the Information Services Division based at our Support Office in Kenilworth, Cape Town. We are looking for a Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer with experience in Identity Access Management and SAP Authorizations. The position will form part of a team responsible for the configuration, implementation and on-going support of SailPoint in the SAP Authorizations Team.

Duties & Responsibilities

The IAM Consultant will report to the SAP Authorizations Lead and will work closely with business process owners to help the businesses meet their objectives

  • Understands industry best practices for access administration activities (i.e. provisioning, de-provisioning, automation, etc.), authorization and authentication protocols and access governance

  • Assist with User Lifecycle Management (provisioning, de-provisioning, modifying)
  • Follow processes and procedures to provision user accounts in Active directory and other corporate systems
  • Manage Active Directory objects such as user accounts, security groups, distribution groups and network shares
  • Monitoring periodic list of locked-out and disabled accounts, accounts exceeding max. Password age and accounts with non-expiring passwords
  • Monitor request and ticket queues to ensure approved modifications are fulfilled in accordance with defined service level agreements and Homesite policies
  • Maintain knowledge of current IAM best practices and ability to work with the IAM team to implement measures to protect corporate identities, network, and data
  • Assist with creating and updating detailed procedures and how-to documentation
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Application support and training of end users
  • Engage with end users on day to day queries
  • Engage with business process owners to determine necessary enhancement requirements Implement system changes as required by users and system updates Functional and Integration Testing
  • Fulfill audit requests Interact with multiple departments, locations and business process to support business and division objectives
  • Conduct end-user training
  • Coordinate tasks related to implementation of enahncements and projects Understand and maintain integration between various systems Recognize system problems.
  • Engage with Support staff as appropriate
  • Be available for occasional overtime and standby after hours

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in related field preferable
  • 2+ years experience with IT Systems Exposure essential
  • Experience with Active Directory, SailPoint, SAP Authorizations or similar technologies essential
  • Proficiency in Office365 (Excel in particular) and Azure essential
  • Knowledgeable on key IAM concepts (Identity Lifecycle, Roles, workflow development, birthright access, privilege access etc.) Federated Identity Management (FIM), SAML, LDAP, Access Management User Life-cycle Management Role Provisioning policy management Multi-Factor Authentication
